FS Refraktor is a creative effect. An effect like no other. Easy and very playful to use. It comes with 3 sections: 1) On the left side the Delay section: time, feedback, modulation and mix controls. 2) On the center a 16 step sequencer: Slew control to vary the speed of delay time changes. (4 positions) | LFO | Step sequencer to add notes to the incoming signal | Signature 1/4, 1/8. 1/16, 1/32 | Phase | Stereo spread control for creating wide out of phase sounds. 3) On the left side the Filter section: Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Notch, Cutoff, Resonance & Drive. You can use or not all these parameters to shape your sounds. At the end the possibilities offer are close to infinite. You can use it with all type of sounds, melodic or percussive. To conclude: FS Refraktor is a: Delay, a Filter, a Chorus, a Phaser, a Flanger, a Ring Modulator, a melody generator and can be also use as a particular Reverb... A Killer App! A Must Have! Price $6.99 Author FutureSonic Ltd Type Effect Effect type Reverb, Delay, Echo, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser etc., Modulation effects, Supports Audio Unit Stand Alone Version 1.0.2 Released 03/09/2018 Updated 08/28/2018 The App Store descriptionFS Refraktor is an innovative twist on modulation effects, inspiring the exploration of new sonic territory. Sitting somewhere between a delay and a flanger, FS Refraktor offers endless possibilities, from rhythmic flanging to chaotic pitch modulation and unpredictable stuttering.
The highly flexible sixteen step sequencer and LFO rhythmically warp sounds beyond recognition - standard drums beats become bleeping basslines and synths gain a mind of their own, generating melodies from thin air. The sequencer’s Slew control varies the speed at which the delay time changes - low settings produce sudden jarring variations while higher settings transition smoothly between delay times. Bypass the sequencer, and FS Refraktor will add metallic overtones and strange resonances to your sounds, similar to a short, reflective reverb. Carve Revolutionary Sounds The dedicated filter section makes it simple to sculpt your sound. Select from a range of versatile filter types: Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Notch and FS Refraktor’s unique Carve mode. Features: - Delay section with delay time, feedback, modulation and mix controls - A highly customizable sequencer for rhythmic modulation of the delay time - Slew control to vary the speed of delay time changes. - A versatile filter section with Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Notch and Carve filter options - Stereo spread control for creating wide out of phase sounds. - Runs as both a standalone app and an AUv3 extension - Ability to save presets when run as an AUv3 extension Version 1.0.2 release notesFixed occasional crash issues when used as AUv3 plugin Optimised processing algorithm Fixed UI bugs

October is a 4 tracks sequencer. With it, you will be able to create a 8 bit song. The tracks 1 & 2 play a Square wave sound, the track 3 a triangle one and the last track, noises. 32 different noises are available. For the 2 first channel 4 duty cycle parameters allow you to change the sound. Each track can play one note at time. Programing your sequence is really easy. You can copy, cut and move note (s). The note length can be set from 1/16 to 7 bars 15/16. You can set the volume, the octave and the duty parameter indepently for each notes. 2 song modes are available. Linear and Loop The first one is a traditional mode. You create patterns to make your song. With the second mode, you create loops. 16 max. Then you add them to the Timeline to create your song. To conclude The App is very well done, very easy to use and very study too. The loop mode is really great. I don't have bad things to say about it. (The only weird thing to me is the metronome setting which can not be settled accurately. Ex: it jump from 100 bpm to 113 bpm, then to 129 bpm) This App has been released 2 months ago (I guess) and for a begining, I am impressed... No bugs, nothing... I have only one wish for the futur which an Audio routing feature. Audiobus or IAA. Sure, you can export your project as an.aac or .asm (6502 ASM6 code) file but most of professional musicians who working with iPad only really need an Audio routing feature. It's the only reason why I can't say that it's a Killer App and I really hope that this will be implemented in a future update. A note: This App seems to have been developed for game music usage (Nes) so perhaps that the lack of an Audio routing feature, the Tempo setting are not so primordial for the music game creator.... I also don't know the possibility offer with an.asm file.... ASM is an all purpose Java bytecode manipulation and analysis framework. It can be used to modify existing classes or to dynamically generate classes, directly in binary form. ASM provides some common bytecode transformations and analysis algorithms from which custom complex transformations and code analysis tools can be built. ASM offers similar functionality as other Java bytecode frameworks, but is focused on performance. Because it was designed and implemented to be as small and as fast as possible, it is well suited for use in dynamic systems (but can of course be used in a static way too, e.g. in compilers). For each track that you select RouteMIDI as it's Audio Unit, you will be able to browse through whatever external devices are connected. Then, you may optionally direct the MIDI to any of the standard 16 Channels so that Multi-Timbral units are supported. Version 1.5 release notesVersion 1.5 addressed cosmetic issues in order to conform fully with App Store regulations. Version 1.3 Removed redundant code that may have been responsible for app crashing when used on a device connected to an ipv6-only Network. Made some changes that should serve to alleviate a potential processing bottleneck. The bottleneck may have been responsible for notes occasionally being stuck "on". Additionally, an "ALL NOTES OFF" button (3 exclamation marks on a Red Background) has been added to the panel to the right of the MIDI out destination Stepper control. In the event of any notes becoming stuck on, a single tap of this button will clear it. It's difficult to write a review when everything is said in the App Store description.... Visual Reverb is a studio quality plate reverb with multi-band EQ and the ability to analyse audio in real time giving an accurate and reliable spectrum representation of your signal flow. This reverb simulates the sound of those famous plate reverbs of old with high levels of diffusion it has a very smooth and pleasing reverb trail which can be tuned to suite using the EQ provided. It includes your typical set of 4 parametric filters which can be used to directly effect the reverb trail in isolation or if required the entire mix. This can be used in addition to the low and high pass filters which effect the reverb trail only. We use a high quality highly hardware optimised FFT to plot the frequency response through the reverb so you can see exactly what effect the EQ changes are having on the reverb trail. The scrolling interface automatically adjusts to the hosts window size to allow a double height display in an appropriate DAW. One of the great features of this reverb is the ability to create ducking reverb trails so that the reverb doesn't swamp your vocals and make an incoherent mess. You also have the ability to sync the pre-delay to the host tempo of your DAW. We also include a Compressor / Limiter section to ensure those EQ settings never get too aggressive. This is a specialised compressor that allows you to use either the reverb output as a control signal or the input signal. This allows you to emphesise reverb trails and create swells which follow a vocal line. You can load and save custom presets as well as copy and paste settngs between instances. This is great if you need to setup multiple instances with the same settings. This is the second of 3 plugins which will make up part of the 'visual' range of effects. Main Features: ○ High quality plate reverb with pre-delay. ○ Automatically sync the pre-delay to your host tempo. ○ Ducking options for surpressing reverb trails. ○ 4 resonant paramettic EQ (+/-24dB per band). ○ Pre or Post filtering options. ○ High and Low Pass filters. ○ Stereo widening and Diffuse filter. ○ Reverb comb filter modulation for tape type effects. ○ Touch interface with multi-touch for controlling filter Q. ○ Spectrum Analyser with 'Wet Only' and 'Output' monitoring. ○ Vertical shift and scale options for the spectrum. ○ Create and save custom presets. ○ Copy / Paste presets between instances. ○ Compressor / Limiter with Auto Makup Gain and Ducking. ○ Twin VU meters with ability to view as PEAK or RMS. ○ Quick Reset options for each section of the EQ. ○ Complete with pre-defined presets for the compressor and EQ sections. Swipe it up and down. 2) These are the user defined sliders. Use the red buttons to select a parameter for the slider. 2 3) The patch window shows the current patch name. The load, save, and new buttons let you store and recall synth settings. 4) Prefs, Record, and Edit buttons let you navigate to other sections of the app. 9) The Envelope section contains 4 (four) settings which change the shape of the synthesizer’s volume. Here’s what an ADSR envelope looks like: The Attack slider changes the length of the starting slope. The Decay slider changes the length of the slope between the end of the Attack, and the start of the Sustain section. The Sustain slider sets the volume which will be maintained as long as you hold down a piano key. When you let go of a key, the Release section will start. The Release slider sets the length of the volume “fade out.” 10) Gain is the overall volume of the ‘patch’ (all of the synths settings are collectively called a patch). 11) Pulsewidth is the ‘duty cycle’. It’s the width of the pulse wave oscillator. The top and bottom sound thin; the middle is hollow sounding. 12) Cutoff changes the center frequency for the filter. Resonance is the like the amplitude of the center frequency. Raising it higher makes the center frequency of the filter sound louder. 13) You can choose from the three filter modes here. 14) These are different waves available to the oscillators. This setting does NOT matter when the table is turned on. The triangle shaped wave to the far left, is a 4-bit triangle wave. The second is a pulse wave with full pulsewidth control. The last two are 1-bit oscillators using an LSFR algorithm. They are, from left to right, short-noise, and long-noise. 15) This little guy is the patch preview button. This is the automation graph, called the table. It changes parameters over time, and loops. 16) Smooth will interpolate the automation graph. Sync makes the automation restart on every note. 17) Size opens up a window which contains controls for the length of the graph. 18) This is a menu for selecting the parameter to be automated. There are 5, which are Pitch, Wave, Pulsewidth, Gain, and Filter. 19) At the bottom of the screen is the Loop Bar. It shows you where the synth is currently playing, and shows you the start position and end position of the loop. . 20) Vibrato is a pitch LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator). It vibrates the pitch up and down using a sine wave. The little check box labeled SNC is for restarting the LFO when a piano key goes down. 21) PWM stands for pulse width modulation. It’s an LFO for pulse width. 22) Filter is an LFO for the cutoff of the filter. 23) The Glide section adds a ‘portamento’, or pitch bend between two notes. When you turn it on the synth will be monophonic. Two notes will only bend when they overlap (press one piano key, and while holding, press another). 24) The Pitch Sweep is based directly on the pitch sweep used by the original NES. When it’s in the middle it’s off (double tap to reset). Higher positions bend downward, and lower ones bend up.
