MicroPitch v1.0.9

MicroPitch: My favorite Eventide's Effect!!!
You know, I never read a description of the App Store before I do a review. Never watch a video from another blogger too, because I'm always afraid of being influenced.
In fact, if I talk about this here and now, it's because of a comment on one of the Facebook group posts....
Someone said he didn't need another chorus.....
This surprised me a little bit because for me MicroPitch wasn't a chorus.... At least not one more chorus....

I started my first review with Blackhole. The Reverb which is certainly the best Reverb available at the moment on the App Store.
Then Ultra Tap Delay yesterday....
Same... Great, Awesome !
And I saved MicroPitch for the end....
Maybe also because it seemed to me the least attractive of the three (Eventide's plugins.}
The cheapest too. (Thanks again and again to Starr Ackerman without whom I would not have been able to review these 3 beautiful Apps. My best for your new job. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏)

Well, actually, it's my favorite!
Sincerely I love it....
I love Blackhole, Ultra Tap Delay, sure. I love the UI, the Ribbon.
I love them but it's Eventide, so I expected to have something exceptional with an awesome processing audio quality...
For MicroPitch, I didn't really know what to expect, except for the missing part in Blackhole and Ultra Tap Delay of the H3000...

Watch the demo video, the tutorial too and most importantly.
MicroPitch can be used on any instrument.
Like a chorus, Delay, Pitch Shifter, Track Doubker...
It is also a Sound FX generator....

On the top row:
  • Mix: Relative level of the wet and dry signals.
  • Pitch Mix: Ratio for the level of Pitch Ato Pitch B
  • Pitch A & Pitch B: Amount of pitch shift up for voice A, from unison to +50 cents.
  • While pressed Flex, it doubles the pitch shift amount of both voices. Flexcan be toggled via MIDI Continuous Control (CC) #3 messages. Flexwill toggle when the CC goes from low (value < 64) to high (value >= 64).
  • Delay A & B: Amount of delay for voice Ain milliseconds, or note-based if Tempo Modeis on.
  • Tempo Sync: Tempo mode of the plug-in. When Off, the Delay Aand Delay Bamounts are in milliseconds.
    When in
Syncor Manualmode, the Delay Aand Delay Bamounts are in beat values, relative to either the tempo of the session (Sync), or a tempo which can be set by dragging the displayed tempo value up and down or tapping the Tapbutton (Manual)
  • Tap: When Tempo Modeis Off, tapping will update the Delay Aand Delay Bamount in milliseconds. When Tempo Modeis Sync, tapping will do nothing. When Tempo Modeis Manual, tapping will update the tempo value of the plugin. Tap can be controlled via MIDI Continuous Control (CC) #4 messages. Tap is triggered when the CC goes high (value >= 64), and will return to the off state when the CC is low (value < 64)

On the bottom row::
  • Mod Depth: Amount of pitch modulation around the each voice's current pitch, from 0 cents (knob at 0) to 2x pitch (knob at 100).
  • Mod Rate: Relative speed of the pitch modulation.
  • Feedback: Amount of feedback for Delay Aand Delay B
  • Tone: Applies filtering to Voice Aand Voice B.

Le Ribbon as usual...(AWESOME !)
Ribbon: Allows the dynamic modification of several knobs at once. By programming left and right ranges for any knob, the Ribbonlets you morph between settings by tapping anywhere on the Ribbonand moving the electric arc back and forth.

To program settings for the Ribbon, press the button on the left or right side of the Ribbon, and then move each knob to its desired Ribbonposition for that side. A blue arc will be drawn between the left and right Ribbonvalues for the knob, with a white dot representing the left value and a blue dot representing the right value.

The Ribbon programming can be cleared by moving the dots to be on top of each other, while in programming mode.
Additionally, the Ribbon is programmed to follow MIDI Continuous Control (CC) #1 messages (a.k.a. Modulation Wheel). This enables you to use the Modulation Wheel on a MIDI device to move many knobs at once.

Also:
Active: Turns the effect on or off.
Active can be toggled via MIDI Continuous Control (CC) #2 messages. It will toggle when the CC goes from low (value < 64) to high (value >= 64).

Presets
The preset menu lets you select from Factory and Artist presets, as well as presets that you've created. Presets are shared between the Standalone and AudioUnit formats. Load a preset by tapping it. You can also delete User Presets by sliding the preset to the left, and clicking the 'x' that appears.
  • Save: Save a user preset.
  • Import/Export: Transfer presets to and from the iOS Files App.
  • Mixlock: Enables a global mix value that will be the same on every preset that is loaded.
  • Info: Opens this help dialog.

To conclude:
My favorite Eventide's Effect!!!!
Yes!!!!

Ultra Tap Delay v1.0.13

9/28/2019

Picture
UltraTap Delay is a delay sure with a focus on tap control
(H3000), but in fact it's much more than a delay...
The possibilities are endless.
You can use it as a Reverb, a Chorus, a Flanger, a Tremolo, a Phaser...

Thanks to a few controls:
  • Spread: The rhythmic spacing of the taps. More negative values will group taps towards the beginning, for a "slowing-down" feeling. More positive values will group taps towards the end for a "speeding-up" delay sound.
  • Taper: Controls the fade of the taps. More negative values will increasingly give a fade-up over the taps, and more positive values will give a fade-down over the taps.
  • Slurm: Adds juicy tap slurring/smearing and modulation.

The others controls are:
  • Mix: Relative level of the wet and dry signals.
  • Length: Total time over which the taps are spaced in, up to 10 seconds.
  • Taps: The number of delay taps, from 1 to 64.
  • Pre-delay: The amount of time before the taps start, up to 1 second. (In Sync to host or manual mode, the amount will be displayed in beats)
  • Width: For stereo instantiations, Widthsets the stereo image width of the taps.
  • Tone: A tone control. Negative values will make darker sounding taps, while positive values will make brighter sounding taps.
  • Chop Speed, Rise, or Release: This knob acts as a multi-function parameter control for the Chopknob. For the ChopLFO waveforms, Speedwill change the LFO speed. For Chop Swell, Risewill adjust the swell rise time, and for Chop Trigger, Releasesets the amount of time after triggering before the gate kicks in and chokes off the sound.
  • Chop: A pre-Tap-machine "chopping" tremolo OR auto-volume processor. The tremolo has several LFO waveform choices: Off, Triangle, Sawtooth, Ramp, Square, or a randomized Sample and Hold. The auto-volume processor will either do volume Swells(Swell 0-9 input sensitivity control), or a gating effect, called Trigger, that chops off the end of sounds.

Also:
  • Tap: When Tempo Mode is Off, tapping will update the Length and / or Chop LFO WaveformSpeed values. Tap can be controlled via MIDI Continuous Control (CC) #4 messages. Tap is triggered when the CC goes high (value >= 64), and will return to the off state when the CC is low (value < 64).
  • Hotswitch: Allows instantaneous toggling between two settings for any combination of knobs and gain controls, allowing you to quickly jump between two different sounds. The Hotswitch can be toggled via MIDI Continuous Control (CC) #3 messages. The Hotswitch will toggle when the CC goes from low (value < 64) to high (value >= 64).
  • Active: Turns the effect on or off. Activecan be toggled via MIDI Continuous Control (CC) #2 messages. It will toggle when the CC goes from low (value < 64) to high (value >= 64).

More:
  • Mixlock: Enables a global mix value that will be the same on every preset that is loaded. (I love this feature available in the 3 Eventide's plugins)
  • Ribbon: Allows the dynamic modification of several knobs at once. By programming left and right ranges for any knob, the Ribbonlets you morph between settings by tapping anywhere on the Ribbonand moving the electric arc back and forth. Ribbonis programmed to follow MIDI Continuous Control (CC) #1 messages (a.k.a. Modulation Wheel). This enables you to use the Modulation Wheel on a MIDI device to move many knobs at once.

To finish:
150 presets
Import/Export: Transfer presets to and from the iOS Files App.

To conclude:
One more awesome App from Eventide.
Great UI for iDevices.
Perfect processing.
Totally versatile.

Picture
Knob Lab from Sonic Logic, an expert developer for MIDI modular control surface...
Knob Lab is modular knobs surface.
A knob will send MIDI cc to anther App, hardware, Mac or PC.
It can be connected as a virtual MIDI instrument, via Audiobus, Bluetooth, USB or WIFI.

First you choose a layout: 1 knob, 2 knobs, 6 knobs or 12 knobs.
Each of these layout knobs can hold 8 knobs:
1 knob layout = 8 knobs | 2 knobs layout = 16 knobs | 6 knobs layout = 48 knobs | 12 knobs layout = 96 knobs!!!
Each of these knobs can be edited independently.
MIDI cc sends, MIDI channel, minimum & maximum value sends, reverse mode or not (Check out the tutorial video), slide range, color, and broadcast (when using Wi-Fi).

This is awesome!!!
Really!!!
Watched the 2 demos below.
The possibilities are infinites: Control 16 tracks of your mixer with 2 fingers, 24 tracks with 3 fingers, with all your FX with 4 fingers, morph your synth preset with 12 fingers sending 96 cc!!! (Not that 12 fingers for humans is not so usual, but who knows in other Galaxies...)
For live... A Must Have!
Yes, this App is awesome and so easy to use.
Not that Knob Lab will be AUv3 compatible shortly.
The AUv3 container is already present in my Beta test version...
(I also added a third video to show you how to find the correspondance between a Volume in decibel and its value in MIDI)

Time Machine AUv3 Plugin v1.02

9/25/2019

Picture
Time Machine is a plugin that allows you to go back to the days of vinyl and tube amplification.
It simulates the sound of early gramophones, radiograms, record players, through to late 80's turntables. You can either select an 'Age' or tweak individual settings to add warp, dust, scratches and good old fashion hiss to your recordings.
The tube emulation mimics the old valve driven amplification which can be overdriven to add a nice warm tonal quality to your sound. It even allows you to add additional harmonics using the saturation knob to mimic the effect of tube amplification. It's a subtle but effective way of adding character and punch to thin sounds without changing pushing them in to the realms of distortion.
When you turn on the Vinyl emulation you can choose to emulate the needle hitting the record, while the power button smoothly fades the effect in and out.

Not a lot to add to this...
Watch the video...
I love it...
I love the Year knob, the Drop Needle...
It’s the kind of FX that we need to have...
Who knows, for our creations, for an incoming job...

The App Store description

This is an AUv3 compatible plugin which can be used with your favourite DAW such as Cubasis, Auria, Meteor or GarageBand. It does not function as a standalone program.

Time Machine is a plugin that allows you to go back to the days of vinyl and tube amplification.

If you still long for those nostalgic days of warped records, worn needles, static laden, crackle ridden vinyl then this plugin is what you've been waiting for. It simulates the sound of early gramophones, radiograms, record players, through to late 80's turntables. You can either select an 'Age' or tweak individual settings to add warp, dust, scratches and good old fashion hiss to your recordings.

We've all heard those great intros that sound like a blast from the past before diving into an aural onslaught. Well this might just be the tool to help lull your audience into that false sense of security!

This is one of those playful fun effects designed to add a bit of spice into your songs and inspire ideas. Version 1.02 release notesFixed an issue freezing a track in Cubasis.

EGLM1 - Drum Machine v2.0.1

9/23/2019

Picture
EGLM1 is an emulation of the Linn LM-1
The Linn LM-1 Drum Computeris a drum machinemanufactured by Linn Electronicsand released in 1980. It was the first drum machine to use samplesof acoustic drums, and one of the first programmabledrum machines. It became a staple of 1980s pop music, helping to establish drum machines as credible tools, and appears on records by artists including Human League, Gary Numan, Michael Jackson, and particularly Prince. The LM-1 was succeeded in 1982 by the LinnDrum.

The LM-1, along with the Oberheim DMX, was one of the first drum machines to use samples(prerecorded sounds).[1] It features twelve 8-bit percussion samples, which can be individually tuned: kick, snare, hi-hat, cabasa, tambourine, two toms, two congas, cowbell, claves, and hand claps.[1] The machine also introduced features such as "timing correct" (quantization) and "shuffle" (swing) and the ability to chain patterns.

so, EGLM1 is an emulation of this vintage Drum Machine from Elliott Garage.
It belongs to a suite of vintage Drum Machine emulation including:
Tr909, Tr808 & Tr606
16 patterns: all patterns play 2 bar by default.
A feature allows you to set a different bar length. (From 1 step to 64 steps). You can copy & paste a pattern.

EGLM1 comes with a sequencer: The step resolution can be settled to 16 or 32 steps.
Note also that EGLM1 supports the MIDI in and can be controlled with another App. (Sequencer)
16 tracks. For each tracks 2 Pads.
A Pad contains 2 samples. A Mix knob in the Mixer allows you to select one of them or mix them.
At the end, we have 16 instruments x 2 Pads x 2 samples = 64 samples
A live mode with a record function is also available as well as a mixer: Tune, Mix, Volume & Pan.
A record function and a song Mode too.
All Patterns and songs can be saved and share as well as your recordings.
To conclude, EGLM1 is a perfect emulation of the Linn.
Totally autonomie, very easy to use.

Audio Function Generator PRO v3.5.0

9/16/2019

Picture
Audio Function Generator PRO is a Frequency (ies) a,d Noise generator including 6 distinct modules.
The first:
Frequency Generator. Enter a frequency in the text field (range 1.0 – 21kHz). Select one of the four waveforms: sine, rectangular, triangular or sawtooth or choose a musical note's frequency. Press the play button to start or stop playback. The frequency slider provides another alternative to the text field entry via the keyboard as well as the Fine Tune row. Just below this row, another one allows you to save your settings as a preset. (The preset setting opens a popover which allows you to customise your presets.). You can also save them in the dedicated menu. Set the volume via the volume slider or via the vol+/vol- buttons on your iPhone or iPad.
Tapping on the Master Volume button opens a popover so you can enter the volume directly (not just via the volume slider). The selectable range is either 0-100 or -60dB to 0dB if you prefer using dB entry. The maximum volume is determined by the respective value configured on the Settings page.
A Beats-per-minute setting allows you to pulse the audio at a custom on/off timing. The Beats-per-minute menu allows you to generate a pulsed audio signal. You can pulse the generated audio within a range of 1 – 600 BPM.
The waveform with currently selected frequency and amplitude is shown right above the Master Volume button.
You can Pan the signal to the L or R output of your iDevice and and change the phase of the generated audio for the left and right channel individually.
The second: Sweep Frequency or volume
In sweep mode, the function generator runs in both directions, min => max frequency and max => min frequency within the specified time. In Volume Sweep mode, the amplitude is increased from 0-100% within the specified time.
If the Repeat button is selected, the sweep will repeat in a loop. If you enable the Siren Mode (Setting menu), the sweep function increments from min to max and then decrements to min again. Then it repeats from min to max and so on.
Select a start frequency by entering a value in the text field or set the frequency via the frequency slider. Then tap on “Set Start”. This sets the sweep start frequency. Do the same for a stop frequency.
The sweep time can be set via the sweep time slider. Its max value can be configured in the Settings menu.
The current sweep time is indicated by the sweep timer.

Third: Noise
There are 6 types of noise that can be played: White Noise, Pink Noise, Violet Noise, Grey Noise, Brown Noise and Blue Noise.

Fourth: Dual Frequency Generator
The dual frequency generator provides means for outputting a different frequency per each channel – left or right individually. You can even output different waveforms per channel. Say you want to play 440Hz sine on the left channel, and 1000Hz saw-tooth on the right channel
Also the volume and phase of each channel can be controlled individually.

Fifth: Multitone Generator (available as an Audiobus App)
The MultiTone Generator provides means to create and play up to 8 completely individual tone combinations in parallel from the 4 describe above.
The frequency and the volume of each tab can be set individually.

The last module is a Click Tracks generator
Set the pause between the Click tracks and it's Amplitube.

To conclude:
This App is awesome. Can be use by Sound Engineers, Technicians and even Musicians.
Despite the technical side of this App, it is fun.
4 of these modules can be used as Drone. The latest Click Tracks like a metronome.
But the fifth: The Multitone Generator is a Drone in its own right!
For this reason the developer had the judicious idea to make it a full-fledged Audiobus compatible App!I will post his review very soon!
I love this App. Very well thought out, very well done...
Nothing to say.

iFretless Bass v1.4.21

9/13/2019

Picture
iFretless Bass...
A classic.
An old App now but which has evolved over time to stay always at the top...
iFretless Bass is a bass sound expander: Bass Fretless, Bass Slap, Bass Pick, Synth Bass,... (See the list below...) Corn is above all a unique interface.
A real bass neck that allows you to play like a real bass with all the playing technics of a bass player. Slide, Hammer, Chord, Vibrato.
The advantage of this keyboard, for guitarists like me, but also violinists, cellists and of course bass player, is that we don't have to think about playing... We are on familiar ground....
In fact, almost all string instrument players will be able to enjoy this Fretboard since it is possible to set the tuning system to the decimal point, the tuning system Major thirds | Fourths | Guitar | Tritone | Fifth as well as the number of frets and strings.
But the top of the line is that iFretless Bass uses the accelerometer accurately detects touch pressure on the screen and respond with dynamic selection of samples of the appropriate timbre and volume. The Sample range velocity will allow you to select the layers played according to your tap. Watch the demo video...

Now the MIDI...
Mani Consulting Limited Company formerly Blue Mango is one of the few developers creating compatible MPE Apps.
And that's a shame because it offers quite interesting possibilities like assigning a different MIDI channel to each of the strings or notes played... (Watch the demo video)

In conclusion:
iFretless Bass is 2 Apps in one.
On one side a Bass instrument expander with a unique keyboard and on the other side an MPE (or not) MIDI Controller just as unique.
iFretless Bass is a Killer App, a Must Have and an Essential App for me!

Preset

Picture
Presets save a snapshot of ALL settings in the app. A good way to get started is to browse through the presets and try them out. If you need to make changes to settings that affect all presets, you must open each preset one at a time, adjust the setting, and save the preset.

Sound and tone

Picture

Instrument

Sounds in iFretless come from samples recorded from various bass instruments. Use this list to choose a sample set.
Fretless Bass | Slap Bass | Jazz Bass | Upr|ght Bass | Hard Fmgerstyle | P|ck Bass | Muted Pick Bass | Electric Upright Bass | Wonder Bass | Saw Wave Synth | Chameleon Synth | Snarling Synth | FM Bass

Volume Range

Volume range controls the dynamic volume range the app produces in response to touch force or MIDI velocity. Set a narrow range for a compressed, even volume output. Widen the range out to get more dynamic expression.

Sample Velocity Range

Each sample set responds with a different type of tone depending on the force with which you press on the screen, or depending on the MIDI velocity, if using an external MIDI controller. For example, the fretted bass guitar sounds have more fret noise when you press harder. In some sample sets you will find the loudest samples are too harsh for some styles of playing. To limit the harshness, pull the upper limit down slightly. Alternatively, if you are playing a style that requires consistent strong volume, increase the lower limit to prevent softer sounds from causing inconsistency in the note attacks.

Vibrato

Vibrato is linked to the MIDI mod wheel parameter by default. But it also responds to velocity at the same time, so louder notes have wider vibrato. We recommend you set the vibrato to zero, because you can get a much more realistic vibrato by moving your finger on the screen, like fretless bass players do. But if have not learned to play vibrato with your hands, or if you control the app via a MIDI keyboard, you will want to use a moderate setting of this control to add more life to your sound.

Reference Pitch

Set this to tune with other instruments. The default is 440 Hz.

Reverb Size

Higher settings for reverb size make the simulated room sound larger: longer echo time, less clarity, etc. We recommend keeping the size set low to ensure a tight, responsive bass sound. However, if you are playing bass solos, especially with the fretless bass, a larger room sounds great.

Reverb Amount

Set the reverb amount independently of the room size. Typically we recommend using a high value when the room size is small, and less reverb when the room is large.

Equalizer

Picture
The equalizer is your most powerful tool for controlling the tone of this instrument. With it, you can get a wide range of different kinds of bass tone, even without changing the sample set. On typical headphones, most sounds have more bass than necessary. We usually recommend setting the bass volume down a few decibels from 100 hz to tighten up the bottom end.

On Screen Keyboard

Picture

Number of Frets

Set this to control the number of frets on the horizontal axis of the screen. Remember that all settings, including this one, are saved separately in each preset, so if you want to change the number of strings for all the presets, you will need to open each one, adjust this setting, and save the preset again.

Number of Strings

Set this to choose the number of strings to display on the screen.

Display Note Names

Enabling this prints the note names (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) above each string on the screen

Tuning System

This sets the interval between strings. Bass guitars are tuned in fourths, and most users will feel comfortable with that setting.

We personally feel that tuning in Major thirds works best for iPad and iPhone because scales and chords fit more comfortably on the scre

The Guitar tuning tunes the lowest four strings on the screen in fourths, the space between the fourth and fifth string is a Major third, and the remaining strings are in fourths. This does not always result in an EADGBE tuning, because the tuning depends on which string you have scrolled to the bottom of the screen. However it ensures that the chords and scales you play on the lowest six strings will correspond to the same shapes or patterns that they have on a six-string guitar.

Violin, Cello, and Viola players may prefer to set the tuning in Fifths

MIDI Output Teanspose

This transposes the key of the instrument. It affects the internal sound and also the notes that the app outputs when used as a MIDI controller for other apps and devices

MIDI Input Teanspose

This transposes the key of the instrument. It affects the internal sound and also the notes that the app intputs when used as a MIDI controller for other apps and devices

Touch Force Sensitivity

This app uses the accelerometer in your iPhone or iPad to measure the vibration when your fingers touch the screen. The best way to use this app is to hold your iPad in your left hand and play it with your right hand. Holding it in your hand allows it to vibrate more freely in response to touches on the screen. This results in a dynamic response with accurate and natural feel. If you place the iPhone or iPad on a hard surface such as a heavy table or desk, the vibration will be weaker so you will need to increase the touch force sensitivity in order to get the full dynamic range. If you must use the app with the iPad or iPhone on a table, place a soft pad or a small cushion underneath it in order to allow it to move more freely. The touch force sensitivity control has no effect when controlling the app via an external MIDI controller

MIDI

Picture
MPE mode 3 (1 channel per note)* In this mode, every note you play gets its own separate MIDI channel with separate controls for pitch bend volume, etc. Because each note is on a completely separate channel, this mode does not support legato transitions between notes such as hammer-ons and pull-offs.
MPE mode 4 (1 channel per string)* In this mode, each string has its own dedicated MIDI channel, and each channel is monophonic. In other words, each string can play only one note. If you press two fingers on the same string, only the last finger to touch the screen makes a sound. This is the best setting for emulating the playing style of stringed instruments because it accurately handles hammer-on and pull-off transitions by playing them legato, without re-triggering the attack portion of the new note. This mode can also be used to get legato transitions when controlling monophonic synths that do not officially support the MPE standard. To do this, set the synth on the receiving end to monophonic mode with the input channel set to All or OMNI.
*Note about using MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression): both of the MPE MIDI modes above reserve channel 1 as a control channel; they only send note start and note stop messages on channels 2-16. Because MPE MIDI requires the use of several MIDI channels simultaneously, the MIDI input and MIDI output channel selectors are disabled when an MPE MIDI mode is selected.
Single channel mono legato Use this mode when you want to get accurate emulation of guitar-like hammer-on and pull-off transitions without using multi-channel MIDI. When this mode is enabled, you will not be able to play chords or double-stops. Note that even in single channel mode, iFretless still supports multi-channel MIDI input as long as you select "Ch All" as the input channel.
Single channel polyphonic Use this mode when you need to play chords and double-stops using only a single MIDI channel. This mode does not support legato transitions. In this mode, the the pitch bend parameter is controlled by the average bend of all the notes you are holding down. You can use pitch bending with single notes, or you can bend an entire chord together at the the same time, but you will not be able to bend individual notes in a chord independently

Band Range in Semitones

Set the MIDI bend range here. This must match the bend range of the synth device or app you are controlling.
Set to 0 to have the app play as a fretted instrumen

Key Range Lower Limit

The app will not send or receive MIDI notes below this note. This is useful for configuring keyboard splits, where different note ranges go to different synthesizers.

Key Range Upper Limit

The app will not send or receive MIDI notes above this note

Velocity Curve

The volume output of each synthesizer responds to MIDI velocity in a different way. If the way an external synthesizer is responding to MIDI coming from iFretless doesn't feel right, or if iFretless volume doesn't feel right in response to an external controller, please try adjusting this higher or lower

MIDI CC Assignment | ML (MIDI Learn) & Other Settings

Picture

Volume

This sets the MIDI CC number on which iFretless responds to volume control change requests. Default is CC 07.

Sustain Pedal

When you press the ML (MIDI lean) button, iFretless listens for CC messages and sets this control to respond to the CC number corresponding to whichever controls you adjust

Vibrato

The modulation wheel control on most keyboards sends messages on MIDI CC 01. To respond to vibrato width control from some other CC number, adjust this setting

Buffer Size

Selecting a shorter audio buffer size results in faster response time, at the expense of higher processer power usage

The App Store description

iFretless Bass is a professional virtual instrument that provides bass and guitar players with an expressive fretless playing surface. The layout is like an eight string bass guitar with the notes colored black and white like the keys of a piano. Although it looks different from a guitar neck, bass players will find it surprisingly easy to use.

The app's ability to measure the force of touches on the screen allows it to respond to dynamics and accented notes with a wide range of different tones for each instrument.

Indie Drum Loops v4.2

18 Rock, Grunge, or Independent Drum loop here.
intro 2 | fills 3 | Break down 3 | verse 4 | chorus 4 I outro 2

The Audio quality is quite good (once you have seriously lowered the volume of the App...)
The drummer's play is good.

You have the possibility to decrease or increase the Tempo of the loops. Here again the quality is quite good.
My only regret is always the same with all the Apps from this developer: no Tempo visualization.
Default Tempo 74 bpm

In conclusion, a really cheap App. 18 samples that will allow you to easily create a realistic Drum track.
A Good App!

The App Store description

Designed to be efficient and effective. It’s flat-out driving straight-ahead, hard-hitting drum. Created by an indie developer for all musicians. Slamming beats and furious fills with brutal breakdowns with a single tap switch from intro, verse, chorus, breakdown, fills and outro sections. Big buttons designed for live play-ability and simple design for the zero learning curve. Open with Audiobus play along with other apps and record. The difference between a beat machine and a drum machine is this app loops quality drums recorded by a professional drummer in a studio when drum machines just play single sounds and are computerized, complicated, and lack feel and musicality. For less than a dollar have a beat machine in your pocket with HQ drum loops with natural drum loops in a highly organized structure.
This is a beat machine, a drum machine plays individual sounds that you have to sequence together. We did the hard part so you can focus on making music.
I am an indie developer, I don't have a million-dollar ad campaign. I depend on people like you, If you like the app please share. Version 4.2 release notesNew music intros, chorus, verses, and outro Adjusted tempo frequency range UI design changes.

Perforator v 1.0.3

Perforator is a Gate.
You can use it as a Gate...
A easy to use Gate because
Perforator is a Stepper Gate. (Sequencer) automatically sync to your host App Tempo.
So you just have to set the number of steps you like from 2 to 32 and set the Gate (volume) for each of the steps you have selected.
You can set the 2 channels independently....
A randomize section is available via a pop up menu.
But Perforator comes also with a Filter / Amp section (12 dB / Oct Low pass filter)
You can use it also without to Gate your signal...
On the left side the Slice enveloppe: Attack | Decay | Slope | Shuffle
By tuning the slice envelopes you can create anything from classic staccato "trance gate" sounds to emulations of sloppy pumping
To finish, for each preset, Factory and the user ones, 2 cc can be send from 1 MIDI channel to another App...

To conclude
I'd have to start my review like this: "it's so annoying a Gate", if only Perforator had been a Gate more in the App Store ... but no, Perforator is anything but a Gate more and this is a bit normal since his dad is Bram Bos ...
Perforator is a creative tool. An awesome creative tool. Check out the video demo...
It's a Gate sure, if you like to use it like this...
It's a Rhythmic Arpeggiator too...
It's a Killer App! A Must Have !

The App Store description

*** Note: Perforator is an AUv3 Audio Unit plugin; which requires an AUv3 compatible host app, such as Garageband, Cubasis, BM3 or AUM ***

Perforator is a rhythmic gating audio effect: it will creatively snip, cut, gap and filter incoming audio to create rhythmic patterns out of sustained sounds.

By tuning the slice envelopes you can create anything from classic staccato "trance gate" sounds to emulations of sloppy pumping

Two gating mechanisms can be dialled in: an AMP EG gate (the traditional way of gating) and a 12dB/Oct lowpass filter which will rapidly carve away high frequencies from your sound to effectively silence them.

- AUv3 Audio Effect, works in all AU compatible hosts
- automatically syncs with your project's tempo
- edit Left an Right channel independently
- built-in preset manager with a ton of factory presets
- all AU Parameters exposed for host automation
- user manual available on ruismaker.com
- Universal: works on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch
- Bonus Feature: AU MIDI output*

* AU MIDI: both envelopes (L+R) can send their values out as MIDI CC messages to mimic 'parameter lock' messages in other plugins/apps. Note: this feature requires iOS11+ and a host compatible with AU MIDI from effects. Version 1.0.3 release notesAdded a switch for enabling/disabling AU MIDI Output for hosts where MIDI CC can conflict with other effects in the effect chain (e.g. Nanostudio 2).
