Every day I receive new App (s). No, rather, I get a redeem code for an App. Just received, and this even before saying thank you to the Developer, I go into the App Store and download the App. And of course I open it. Sometimes I close it immediately telling myself that between her and me, it's not easy, that we're going to have to spend a lot of time getting to know each other before we can play together. When I opened Octachron for the first time, I smiled, like you smiled at someone you already know. Like an old friend. Just one "Yoh" , and off we go. For you, it will be the same whether you are Japanese or Dutch, drummer or guitarist, pro musician or not. Octachron is the Drum sequencer.... it is the Drum sequencer by definition. If you are asked what punk is, you will answer the Sex Pistols, expressionism: Munch, Kung Fu Bruce Lee... And if you are asked what is a Drum sequencer: you will answer Octachron. So, you all already know how it works, whether you have it or not, whether you have seen it or not. Check out the specifications at the end of this post. To conclude: Octachron is so easy to use. And fast! It allows you to create Polyrhythm, to send cc to your Drum Machine or other instrument. (to add live to your pattern or even create special Fx.) To save the custom mapping for your favourite Drum Machine (if it not belong to the built in factory mappings) To play a song with unlimited number of patterns! I explain... You have 8 patterns by instance of Octachron so the maximum number of patterns for a song should be 8... Yes, but you can run several instances of Octochron because it's an AUv3 Midi processor... So for example my first instance will play 8 patterns 2 times. 16 patterns of 16 or 32 steps. So, I just have to create a first blank pattern in my second instance with 16 repeats and so on... To conclude my conclusion Octochron is a Killer App! A Must Have ! Easy to use and very powerful !
