Since I made this review, the App has been updated only 1 time, but it was this year, in March. So no problem for MovableChord the developer still working on it... If I post this Flashback today, it is for a good reason... You will understand why this next Sunday.... This is the App Store description: MovableChord plays basic chords on root notes in a diatonic scale. It helps you hear the chord and the chord progression, and learn each note. It's also a good tool for learning to read music with scale degrees. Use it for searching/learning chords for a tune, building your solos from chord tones, or for studying music theory. - Beautiful acoustic piano sound - Select a root note (and a chord type if needed) to play a chord - Easy chord playing with Auto Select Feature (Diatonic Triad/7th) - Play arpeggio with Chord Tone Pads - 4 scales available (Major, Natural/Harmonic/Melodic Minor) - Choose a type of scale degree labels (Arabic/Roman numerals or movable do) - Key Transpose Feature * MovableChord can take non-scale tones as root notes. All the things written there are right. When I launched the App for the first time and started to play with it, a new song idea came to me. My only regret is that they haven't included a chord diagram. If I want to use MovableChord as a studying tool, the Virtual Midi, I prefer to use it as a MIDI Chord controller App or a little sequencer to use it as a backing track App to rehearse my guitar solos. Despite this, MovableChord is very well done with a very nice UI.Hard to rate it... A very very good App!
