It is not the most powerful compressor in the app Store.
It's not the expensive one either.
As if it is not the most expensive, it is also not the most fashionable.
But nevertheless, it is the one you see the most on my videos....

Because it is one of the most transparent compressors in the App Store and when I review another App, I can't afford to change its sound.
Because when I review an App, I often use a lot of other Apps, and therefore I use a lot of CPUs. So I need a compressor that uses as little CPU as possible.
Audio Compressor uses only 4% CPU.

In conclusion:
Even if it is not the most powerful (no Sidechain, Pre Amp,...) not the most expensive, so trendy on the App Store it is certainly the one you should use as a section of your channel strip on all your tracks.

At the heart of this compressor is a unique envelope follower design that makes it possible to compress the signal without creating distortion harmonics.

On the spectrum of compressor tone that ranges from "vintage analog" to "pristine digital", this plugin sits at the extreme end of low-noise digital clarity, but it is different from other low-noise digital designs because it doesn't use digital look-ahead.
