When I was in France I was volunteer for an association.
The Robins des Rues.
3 nights a week I was making marauds.
One day, there was an old guy seating on bench.
I ask him if he was hungry.
He said, yes.
I asked the members of my team to go to buy food for him and I seated with him.
After a long silence, he asked me if he could talk to me.
Yes, sure, I said yes and he started to cry...
"You know, I was not like this before. I was a very famous architec. It was 20 years ago... One day, just before to go in holidays with my wife and my 2 children,, I received a call from Japan. There was a problem on a tower I was building. So, I decided to go to Japan and asked my wife to drive from Paris to Cannes my family. They all died burn in a crash car.. and I can not stop crying since this day...."
2 months later this man was killed for fun by young guys the Christmas day.
This man was not considered as a sheat.. No, he was nothing...,
Never an eye on him, never a talk, never nothing....
And it was normal.
This man is my hero.
This man was a human!
