in the center of the screen, there are 12 strings. You can adjust their sizes their directions, or move them where you want. Then you select one of the instruments. 3 sounds. You can replace a sound by a little sample that you will record with the microphone of your iDevice. Then, you draw. 5 little melodies per instrument track. The way you are going to draw (from left to right, from top to bottom, will determine the reading direction, the timing too. Move the strings to play or not a note, to play chords,.... In the settings more options,... Sync the the drawings, lock bows, and the export mode: Audiocopy or iTunes files sharing. This App is really cool, but not really for Pro musicians. No Audiobus or IAA implementation despite this, they can have fun with it. A very Good App! Review by Ed

This is the tutorial 4 / The Sample page Wahoo! Awesome! One thing that I really really love is the Slices to Pads (Create Pattern) feature! Check out the video demo! Also, the Mapping page is great... Fast and easy to understand. As usual you will be able to insert a lot of plugins to a layer or a Pad. Also use the ADSR or AHD... The recorder and the "Move to next Pad" feature is great! BeatMaker is very powerful. Certainly the most powerful DAW from the App Store. A lot of features, but once you know them, it's easy to navigate inside Beatmaker 3. Next Tutorial the Audio Track.
Edit Sample Page Here you will be able to edit your Audio files. First, you will have to select the Layer and the associated audio file. By a Tap on the Edit button, your audio will be displayed in full screen mode. Edit function: Trim audio (zero to Snap / Snap to grid / no Snap) Copy / Paste Fade in & out / Silence / Time Stretching / Reverse / Stereo to mono Playing mode: No loop / Normal Play / Alternated Live Stretch & disc streaming Slice: Auto Slice Delete, copy & paste Slice Slices to Pads / Create Pattern Here is an awesome feature! In 2 minutes you will be able to slice an audio file (split or Grid), then to send all the slices to Pads and create a pattern too! Check out the video demo. Slice to Single or Multiple layers / Slices to Apple Loop Record Here also a great feature. You can auto assigned a new recording to the next Pad, in Synthesizer mode or not! ADSR OR AHD / 9 EQ Filters for each layers Layers Fx For each layer: Overdrive / SV Filter / Invert Phaser & Bit Crusher Modulations 1 more ADSR OR AHD per layer / the re trigger switch / Layer Gain & Tune setting Mapping I love this page. So easy to map your Sample on the keyboard! Plugin
You can insert an Audiobus, Audio Unit or IAA plugin to a Pad (More with Audiobus, AUM,... Check out below) Sir Sampleton is a little sampler. It allows you to play 2 samples at the same time. 1 for each keyboard. The sample will be mapped automatically. 8 Banks are available. 12 samples per bank. In the Setting menu, you will be able to set the start and end point of your sample, to loop it or not. 4 switches will set a sample length automatically from very short to entire. 4 other switches for the note trail. You can also add a Vibrato. For the keyboards: you c an set the octave and the volume for the 2 keyboards independently, the tuning and transposition as well. To conclude, sir Sampleton is very easy to use. The App very well done. A Super little Sampler! I forgot to talk about 2 things, a module allows you to play a Rhythm and the Midi feature too.
I had a bug with sir Sampleton while I was making my video demo. I didn't noticed it before. To make my video demo, I use to record the Audio With Audio Share or AUM. When an App have to record an audio signal, I use Audiobus also. Here the sound is saturated when I try to record the signal from another App. I add the pictures of the problem below for the developer. I will add the video as soon as the problem will be resolve. This will not change my rating because bugs are normal. The day I will be able to do this website without to make any mistake, or forget something, perhaps that I will change my point of vue. But I think that this day, I will no more be a human... |
