Below my VirtualRoom review. This is not because I am lazy.... This is because VirtualForest works the same way! The only difference, and it's not a litle one, is that this time the listener is not in a room but in a forest. There are 3 rooms, a small, a medium and large. There are no preset library in the Stand Alone and IAA version but the copy and paste feature only and perhaps that this option is much more better, because it’s not a Reverb. Or a Reverb that works in the opposite side... Here, the settings are for you, the listener and the 2 input sources. To be able to move the listener and the 2 input sources with you fingers, it's Top. You can easily follow the images from a movie while you are making the sound design, or even the soundtrack in a DAW like Auria. , it's top! . VirtualRoom AU can be used by sound engineers, sound designers, musicians, videos editor, even Djs. The processed signal is great, the UI too (you can work on several VirtualRoom plugins at the same time), so without any hesitation, VirtualRoom is a Killers App, a Must Have! Audio Unit (plugins) / IAA / Stand Alone And because I forgot to write something in the VirtualRoom AU post, I add it now.... These 2 plugins can be controlled with MIDI CC And because I don't want that VirtualForest be jealous of VirtualRoom AU, I add below the App Store description: With VirtualForest you can create your own binaural audio! Even directly within your favorite audio workstation app, thanks to the bundled AUv3 Plugin. This application simulates the acoustics of a forest and reproduces the sound signals for the two ears of a virtual listener inside the forest. Listening to these signals using headphones gives the impression of being inside the forest at the position of the listener. Please note that without headphones connected to your iOS device, this app may lead to unpleasant feedback noise. When run for the first time, this application will install an Audio Unit v3 App Extension that can be used in various third party applications. The sound sources take their signals from the left and right input channels (coming from a microphone, Inter-App Audio, or the AUv3 host application) and can be moved in real time by dragging the loudspeaker symbols on the screen. The listener can be moved by dragging the head symbol. Alternatively, sliders can be used to set the positions (including along the vertical Z dimension), as well as source gains and the listener azimuth. Current settings can be copied in a text format to and from the clipboard. The unique mirroring function lets you create a balanced stereo setup simply by pressing a button. To conclude: I really love the concept of these Reverbs that aren't Reverbs, even if they are Reverbs.... and I will be really happy to have a lot of new places in the future! A Killer App!, a Must Have!

What's is it? A Noise generator, or a Drone Machine. A distortion too. You can use it as a plugins to shape the signal of an incoming Audio source. (IAA and Audiobus or the built in microphone) To generate the signal of the Noise generator, we have a VCF a Band Pass. For the Drone, 4 Oscillators (Saw, Sinusoïdale, Triangle and Square) but you can also drag the waveforms for each oscillator in the Oscillators Table located in the settings window. You can order the polyphony order or randomise it for each child oscillator. To shape the signal, a 10 Band equalizer, a Low Pass, and the Distortion. I forgot something... Self a Fuzz also as a randomizer effects... All the parameters can be randomised. It's awesome... All knobs and buttons come with 3 randomisers switch. These switch allows you to set the range a of the associated parameters... Also and this is really awesome, You can controller the VCF and Band Pass frequency with MIDI or the built in keyboard. Self a Fuzz can record your performances and share them via Audio Share. To conclude Self a Fuzz is really awesome and very very easy to use of,Ce you have understand how it works. As usual, you have the tutorial below, but this time I also added 5 examples to help you to understand how it works. A Killer App! A Must Have!
PS Below, a message from the developer. (Deregulator, ZhSh, 3oomph, and Self a Fuzz) "Dear musicians, today versions of my apps have buggy sound on iPhones with default sample-rate 48000. I hope to bring fixes asap, but this may be late or impossible. And take care for your hardware and meatware :)" Savelii Review by Ed Examples1) As a Noise generator: |
