Audio & MIDI DAW + video track
Auria Pro is my Favorite Daw because of the GUI. Because of the possibility to edit multiple Audio tracks at once.
Because it's a copy of Protools HD and also because I need a video track for a lot of my work.
Meteor is an old App now but same as Auria you can import a video track. The big problem is that it is still not AUv3 compatible

I am not a big fan of GarageBand but for Free it's awesome. You can make a entire album with it!
BeatMaker is more powerful than Cubasis 2 but it comes with a personal UI that ask time to be familiarize with. Cubasis 2 is certainly the best of all if you use it on your computer. But for an ex Protools audio editor like me, the way to edit audio is really "weird, and dangerous"
FL Studio is an adaptation of the PC software... PC make me scared... So I am scared to use it... I can not talk about it.

Audio Evolution and n-Track are goods options for a little budget. They are both Free with Offers in App Purchases so you can download them and make your own choice. They both are frequently updated and become better every time.
Music Studio was the first iOS DAW on the App Store, and except the IAA integration not a lot of new features. But this certainly the more easy to use for beginners.
Stageligth: I can not really talk about it. I have to work a little bit more with it. But to unlock all the features you will have to pay $149. So tor this price, it has to be much more powerful than Auria Pro...
Nano Studio. I received it 2 weeks ago and play with it only one time... So I don't know at this moment...
I don't have MultitrackStudio for iPad so...
